"'NESemu' is a NES 8-bit emulator written in 32-bit assembly, utilizing Adam Seychell's DOS32 extender. It is very compact, taking up only 6K of hard drive space. It is not as fast as it used to be. It still runs quite well though. Many things are still missing; mainly sound and lots of mappers.

"Please note that this version is only an alpha. This is my first attempt at making an emulator, so how this program will evolve is uncertain."

Features:

  • CPU
  • PPU
  • Sprites
  • Mappers 0,1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10,15,16,17,19,22,23,24,32,33,34,64,65,66,69
  • Battery backed RAM
  • Joypads (Gravis Gamepad / Keyboard)
  • Sound (not in public version, too crappy as of yet...)
  • Screen Capture (PCX)
