XTRS by Tim Mann "I've added several major features to xtrs, a Radio Shack TRS-80 emulator that runs under Unix with the X Window System. The original XTRS emulated a Model I with cassette, 48KB of memory, and an uppercase-only display. My version can emulate either a Model I, Model III, or Model 4, and it includes lower case, floppy disk drives, and the real time clock. Unlike most Model I emulators, mine includes double sided, double density floppies, emulating both the Percom and Radio Shack Doubler. The emulated disk file format is compatible with the popular MS-DOS-based emulators by Jeff Vavasour and Matthew Reed. Under Linux, physical floppy disk drives are also supported. The emulator is a bit spartan but is quite usable." Download XTRS XTRS for Unix [Homepage] |
