Hello from Big Houston, Texas! I have had the very problem your talking about! I didn't know the CD Number was on the dumb Jacket. I put the CD in a Jewl Case and threw out the old cheap jacket and bam! Now I can't install! what a bummer! Take NO prisoners and give my regards to the boys in the band! Where can I get games to the SWC ?

I'd mistakenly entered the Microsoft CD key for another product when I was installing Visual C++, and was surprised when it was accepted. I suspect the main motivation for the CD keys is to help MS track OEM versions of their products, rather than retail copies. I can imagine that they might be especially interested in finding out when (for example) a Gateway 2000 OEM CD is installed onto a PC made by someone else. I wonder how long it will be before they start asking for CD keys when you call in for technical support ...

the easiest cd key for microsoft programs is simply 001-0000000. this works with everyone I've tried so far!

Nice page, I'm a game coder for PC, have been since 1990 when game coding was starting to see the light, my hopes lie in coding for the u64 and making the greatest 3D action adventure - non doom or quake clone - for the world, I'm currently writing an RPG for DOS protected mode which is sort of like a cross between Final Fantasy, Secret 'o Mana and Dragon quest, the name, Blazing Legends.

One word..."Awesome Page"!!!!...oops hehe sorry that's two words... ether way....this is probably the most helpfull page on the SNES info i've found/seen in last 2-3 years. Keep up the good work. BTW can't wait for your game to be released hey if you get a good response maybe you can get a contract made with some company to sell it.....

Just read the info about Micro-Soft. There was recently a nice article in a german paper about getting a job at MS: 1. You've got to LOVE computers ! 2. You have got to LOVE MS-Windows ! 3. You have got to be a coding genius ! 4. You have got to accept low salary and lot's of overtime (well, you can improve your payment, but ...) That are 4 reasons, why I did NOT install Win95...
